LANDR mastering price, and what you get

LANDR sells a single WAV master for $10 with no subscription; otherwise its mastering comes in LANDR Studio plans. Billed monthly, Studio Essentials is $13, Standard $20 and Pro $25 a month; billed yearly, LANDR shows them as $8.25, $12 and $25 a month, with Standard at $8.28 and Pro at $12.50 in its current sale. Essentials masters to MP3 only, Standard adds 3 WAV masters a month, and Pro has unlimited WAV and HD WAV. Bounce Sessions, which makes this guide, sells a master for $4.99 after a free full-length preview.

What each LANDR option costs

Prices read 2 November 2026, in dollars as shown in the United States. LANDR’s pricing terms say its amounts “exclude all applicable taxes”. Bounce Sessions’s prices exclude tax too; any tax is added at checkout. LANDR’s pricing page carries a “Black Friday Sale” banner with no end date. Sale prices show on the Standard and Pro yearly plans and the plug-in, not on Essentials or the monthly prices, so each sale price below sits beside the regular one.

We make Bounce Sessions, so it’s listed first. Everything about LANDR on this page comes from LANDR’s own pages, and nothing here says one service sounds better than another.

For a wider view, eMastered’s pricing page, read the same evening, is subscription only: $34 a month, $14 a month on a one-year commitment, or $156 upfront for a year. eMastered vs LANDR sets those two side by side with a way to test them on your own mix, and our comparison of online mastering services covers more.

What you get for the money

Files. LANDR’s mastering page says it “outputs MP3 (320 kbps), WAV (16-bit) and HD WAV (24-bit) files.” Its help on formats adds that the 16-bit WAVs “come back with a sample rate of 44.1kHz”, and that with an HD WAV “you’ll keep whatever sample rate you had in your original file”. An HD WAV needs an upload rendered at 24 bits or more. Its upload guidelines list WAV, AIFF, MP3, OGG, M4A and FLAC, at a sample rate of at least 44.1 kHz.

Changing a master. LANDR’s mastering pricing page marks Revisions “SUBS ONLY” and says Revisions “does not cost extra credits” when you’re “creating a WAV or HD WAV file as part of a subscription plan”. A different style or loudness counts as a new master: “Remastering a track with different settings (style and/or loudness) will cost an additional credit.” Making an MP3 from a WAV master, or a WAV from an HD WAV master, costs nothing extra. Without a WAV or HD WAV subscription, “revisions and mastering preferences will not be available for the on demand masters”, which we read as covering the $10 single.

Several songs. LANDR’s album mastering takes “2 to 20 tracks”, and “Mastering an album requires one master per track”, so an album costs one master per song. LANDR says it masters them “using the same settings and loudness standards applied uniformly across all uploaded tracks”. A help article last edited in 2022 says “Album Masters are not currently eligible for Revisions.” We haven’t tested the feature. Bounce Sessions masters each song on its own and does not balance songs as a record; if yours need that, personal mastering is the route here.

The plug-in. LANDR’s plug-in masters inside your DAW. Its help says that through Studio Pro “you must have an active subscription to continue using the plugin”, while with a perpetual licence “you may use the plugin forever.”

Credits. LANDR’s pricing page says unused credits “will rollover to the next month and will be yours to use as long as you continue to maintain an active LANDR Studio subscription.”

Is LANDR mastering free?

Hearing it is; the file isn’t. LANDR offers “unlimited free mastering previews”, and says “You’ll need a paid subscription or a one-time purchase to download your master.” Its 3-day Studio trial, on any tier, lists “Unlimited MP3 masters (watermarked)”, and “Your subscription will begin automatically unless it is cancelled before the end of your trial period.” The plug-in has its own 3-day trial, and LANDR says an audio watermark stays on anything you bounce from it during the trial.

On Bounce Sessions, the free tier plays the whole master against your mix with every measurement, with no card and no trial to cancel. Downloads are what you pay for.

Which LANDR option fits the songs you have

These sums use only LANDR’s prices above, before tax, and count masters downloaded as WAV.

One or two songs. LANDR’s $10 single is the only WAV option without a subscription that its pricing pages show. Two of them at LANDR cost $20, the price of one month of Studio Standard, which includes 3 WAV masters.

Three WAV masters in a month. One month of LANDR Studio Standard, at $20, covers them.

More than three in a month. LANDR Studio Pro, at $25 a month, has unlimited WAV and HD WAV. Standard’s yearly card shows 36 WAV masters while LANDR’s FAQ says 3 a month, so its pages don’t settle whether the 36 can be used at once.

Only MP3s. LANDR Studio Essentials, at $13 a month or $8.25 on yearly billing, gives unlimited MP3 masters and no WAV.

Cancelling, refunds and price changes

LANDR’s pricing page says “Your LANDR Studio will auto-renew by default.” Its help on cancelling says “you’ll still have access to your plan until the end of the period you paid for”, while its pricing terms say “cancellation will be effective immediately”. Either way, LANDR says cancelling means losing “the LANDR Mastering and Samples credits you’ve accumulated via LANDR Studio and access to all features included with Studio”, and any discounted rate you had. Unused master credits bought outside a subscription, which LANDR calls on-the-go masters, stay on your account for one year after purchase.

On refunds, the pricing terms say “All charges are non-refundable and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods”, and the help article repeats it. Their section on per-use fees, which covers buying a single master, says the charge is billed immediately and doesn’t mention refunds. LANDR publishes two exceptions: upgrading to a higher Studio tier brings “an automatic refund for the remaining value of your previous plan”, and its pricing page says that moving from a Distribution, Plugins or Sessions plan to Studio cancels the old plan and “The remaining balance of your plan(s) will be refunded within a few days.”

On price changes, the pricing page’s FAQ, answering whether billing changes when new features are added, says “your monthly price will never change so long as you maintain your subscription”, and the pricing terms say “LANDR may change the charges in effect, or add new charges from time to time”, with notice by email.

What we couldn’t confirm

When LANDR’s sale ends, and whether a yearly sale price holds at renewal. Whether Standard’s 36 yearly WAV masters can be used at once. Whether Studio Essentials, which has no WAV masters, gets Revisions: the Studio page lists “Unlimited master revisions” and a help article says every Studio subscription has them, but the mastering page ties them to WAV and HD WAV masters. How long the free preview runs, and what the trial watermark is. What happens to files you downloaded after you cancel. The price of a single HD WAV master: LANDR’s help mentions master packs, and the data its mastering pricing page loads lists packs and HD WAV singles, but no public page shows their prices. A help article last edited in January 2024 describes a rent-to-own plug-in plan that the pricing page doesn’t show. We read public pages and bought nothing, so a checkout can differ.
